Handmade

All Brightwood pieces are carefully crafted by hand with great care and therefore are innately unique. The natural burls and grains in the wood give each piece a one-of-a-kind look and feel. Blemishes should never be seen as flaws -- but rather a characteristic distinction away from the mass-produced. We take great care to make all pieces match the dimensions listed but please keep in mind that no two pieces are identical thus ensuring your new Brightwood product is premium, handmade and unlike any other.

Care Instructions

Each Brightwood piece is crafted by hand and should be treated properly to ensure its longevity after use. To clean, wash with mild soap, rinse, and dry immediately with a soft cloth. To oil, simply rub a thin layer of food safe wood preserver onto entire wood surface with a clean cloth.  Let stand for 15 minutes, then gently buff off any excess oil or wax. To avoid warping or cracking, do not soak your wooden products in water, put in dishwasher, scrub with anything abrasive, heat in microwave, or leave in direct sunlight.

PRODUCTION

All items are made upon order in our Brooklyn, NY studio. Please allow 1-2 weeks for production prior to shipping unless otherwise noted.

SHIPPING

All pieces are carefully packaged and delivered via USPS. A tracking number will be provided when each order is shipped.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Brightwood cannot offer refunds or exchanges on any item. Each package is inspected before shipment with the utmost care and attention.

Orders damaged during shipment will be handled on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

SALES TAX
